Japanese Company Makes Randoseru for Dogs

Dogs have lived among humans for thousands of years, and it seems that the more time passes, the more they're becoming like us.

These days, you can take your pet to restaurants or hotels designed for dogs, and buy them all sorts of clothes, including rain jackets, shoes and sunglasses.

And now, thanks to Japanese leather company Tsuchiya Kaban, dogs can have their own leather backpack to carry their very important things — like toys and treats.

That's right, from December 14, dog owners in over 50 countries can buy their dog a randoseru — a backpack traditionally used by Japanese elementary school children.

The bags are ergonomically designed with an adjustable strap, to make them more comfortable for dogs to wear. It's recommended for smaller dogs under 8 kilograms.

A leash for the bag can also be bought separately, making it perfect for walks.

And if the dog gets tired of carrying it, the randoseru also comes with a longer strap so that humans can carry the backpack instead.

The bags will be sold for just under $500.

Tsuchiya Kaban is known for its high-quality leather products, all made by craftsmen in Japan. It's the first time the company has made products for pets.

Along with the randoseru, the company will also be releasing pet collars priced from about $116, and a larger bag for carrying your pet costing about $2,530.

I think it's adorable and friendly.
Bags may be a nuisance to dogs, but I think it's good to take pictures and take them for a walk occasionally.

The same goes for dressing your dog and putting shoes on it.
It's good to have fun occasionally for the owner's satisfaction, but we want dogs to exercise freely and naturally.

3. Do you know many people who dress up their pets?
->
I don't have any actual friends, but when I walk around town, I see a lot of dogs wearing clothes.
Sometimes it feels adorable, and sometimes it feels overdone.
It's when you put on a raincoat, put on boots, or put on a coat.
I don't think wearing something fashionable is a problem as long as it doesn't interfere with your dog's walking.

->
There are no such people among my acquaintances.
However, my sister-in-law's family has two cats.
She said she wanted to renovate the balcony for her cat.

5. Are most restaurants, cafes, and shops pet-friendly where you live?

No, I don't think you can bring yourselves with you in most places.

Even though we can't communicate with each other, pets can certainly heal our hearts.
