Midsomer Murders continues to be a huge hit and shows no signs of slowing down. Midsomer Murders first aired on ITV in the UK in 1997 and has since produced 23 seasons of cosy murder mystery mayhem, with a 24th season on the way.

Frankly, it's a wonder there's anyone left to murder in the fictional English county of Midsomer, given that an average of three people die per episode, and there are well over 130 episodes to keep you entertained and pleasantly baffled.

Although not much has been revealed about Midsomer Murders season 24, we do know that it's already in production.

This confirms that Hendrix will return for the 24th series of Midsomer Murders. Hendrix has been a regular cast member since series 19, but as actors who play Detective Sergeants often move on, it's always interesting to know how long they plan to stay with the show.
